LOCAL SERVICE, LOCAL PEOPLE

With almost 20 years of plumbing in the Otago Lakes District between them, it’s fair to say Andy and Russell know a thing or two about water around the Wakatipu.

Andy moved to Queenstown from his UK motherland in 2011, starting his plumbing apprenticeship not long after. He has spent the last 6 and a half years working around the booming Queenstown housing market, completing hundreds of new builds and renovations, as well as ongoing repairs and maintenance for commercial and residential clients. In 2017 Andy received the prestigious ‘Apprentice of the Year’ award for the Otago Region. When he’s not on the tools, Andy can be found spending time with his busy twin children, mountain biking, or sending it down a snowy hill, kids in tow.

Also a UK native, Russell came to NZ in 2003, falling in love with the Queenstown lifestyle after a brief stint in the North Island. Also a high achiever, Russell was awarded runner up apprentice of Southland in 2011, and began working with Andy in 2014. Now a ‘certified local’, Russell is an active member of the Queenstown community, helping out at his two young boys’ school, as well as participating in Community Patrol. He is a member of Wakatipu Rugby Club, as well as a keen mountain biker, snowboarder and fisherman, and can often be seen kayaking across Lake Hayes catching brown trout and perch.

The wives of LPS are also key members of the team, and keep everything running smoothly behind the scenes. Katie and Ann-Marie have got all things administration and accounts covered, and keep the LPS ship on course.

We look forward to meeting you and your plumbing needs.
